These cartridges were used in the M1903 Springfield. The first 2 photos are from the WWI era. They appear to have a tin jacket. The next 2 are of a later copper jacketed bullet. The next 3 photos are of a blank cartridge. The next 2 are of a rifle grenade round. These cartridges contained 5 gr. of black powder and 50 gr. of Pyro. The crimp was sealed with a drop of red shellac. The last 2 photos are of a .30 cal. pistol round. These rounds were to be used in the M1903 fitted with the Pederson Device, making the rifle semi-automatic.
